TV Mounting for Condos & Apartments in Miami
Condo and apartment walls are not always the drywall of a typical house — Miami buildings often mix concrete walls with drywall over metal studs. We serve condos and apartments across Miami-Dade, including Brickell, Downtown, Edgewater, Midtown, Wynwood, Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, Miami Beach and Key Biscayne, and we choose the hardware for what is actually behind your wall.
Updated October 2026.
The right hardware for the wall behind your TV
We find out what is behind the wall first, then match the anchor to it. Never a lighter-duty anchor than the wall calls for.
| What is behind the wall | What we use |
|---|---|
| Concrete, block or brick | Tapcon concrete screws |
| Metal stud | Self-tapping TEK screws |
| Wood stud | Lag screws driven into the stud |
| Drywall, no stud at the mounting point | Self-drilling hollow-wall anchors |
Concrete, brick and other masonry surfaces add $49 to the job. The TV installation itself starts at $79 — see the full price list.
Before you book: building basics
Some buildings have rules about work hours, elevator reservations, parking or drilling. Check with your property manager or association, and tell us what applies when you book, so we plan the visit around it.
- Your building and unit number
- Elevator or loading-dock reservation requirements
- Parking or valet instructions for the day of the visit
- Any work-hour or quiet-hour rules
Big TVs and clean finishes
For TVs 75" and larger, an optional second installer is available for $60 when the job needs it. Want no visible wires on a condo wall? Read about hidden cable TV installation in Miami. We clean up the work area when we finish.
Condo TV mounting — common questions
Can you mount a TV on a concrete condo wall?
Yes. On concrete, block and brick we use Tapcon concrete screws. Masonry surfaces add $49 to the job on top of the TV installation price, which starts at $79.
What do you use on drywall over metal studs?
When there is a metal stud behind the mounting point we use self-tapping TEK screws. With a wood stud we drive lag screws into the stud, and with drywall and no stud we use self-drilling hollow-wall anchors. We find out what is behind the wall first, then choose the hardware.
Do I need my building's permission to have a TV mounted?
Check your building or association rules, since some have requirements for work hours, elevator reservations or parking. We cannot speak for individual buildings, but if you tell us the rules when you book, we plan the visit around them.
Which Miami condo areas do you serve?
We serve all of Miami-Dade County, including Brickell, Downtown Miami, Edgewater, Midtown, Wynwood, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, Miami Beach, Key Biscayne and Doral.
Can the cables be hidden inside a condo wall?
Often yes. We confirm the wall conditions first and tell you what is possible before you book. In-wall cable concealment is $39 per TV and a recessed outlet behind the TV is $99.
What are your hours?
We work Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and we offer same-day service when the schedule allows.
